My situation matches yours exactly ... Mailed USPS to Chicago Lockbox Oct-18th Delivered Oct- 20th Field Office Orlando ..

Waiting for NOA

Received biometrics appointment letter today. Interview scheduled for November 8th.

10/17/2016 ---- Recived email and text notifications.

10/22/2016 ---- Received Hard copies of NOA's.

10/28/2016 ---- Received Biometrics Appointment letter FOR 11/08/2016

10/31/2016 ---- Biometrics completed ( early walk-in)

11/01/2016 --- Received RFIE for tax forms(text ).

11/08/2016 ---- USCIS case updated with response for RFIE received.

12/12/2016 --- EAD and AP approved.

12/18/2016 --- Recived combo card(EAD+AP) in hand.

Did you do your biometrics @ Kansas city USCIS office ? If so how was the experience ?

Did they ask reasons for early walk-in ?

Yes, staff over there were very nice and it was done in about 15 minutes.

They told me as long as they are not busy and you have the biometrics appointment letter, they'll let you in.

By the way guys, my 90 days will be over in 2 weeks. Would it still be possible for me to apply for an instruction permit at dmv here in Ca? I have read that DMV sometimes doesnt allow for DL but am uncertain if it would be the same for an instruction permit. I really need to learn how to drive :/ it will also keep me busy while waiting for the EAD and AP...

My Friday just got better! Received 4 emails around 11pm last night 4 different case numbers. All of which I am able to track the status on the USCIS website!!!!

Just waiting for the hardcopies of the NOA then biometrics and so on !!!

Sent 10-08-16-fed ex

Received 10-13-16: parole date

Emails 10-28-16 exactly 2weeks from receipt date ??????
