That is so not true... I came on a K1 too but all they asked for was my passport to get my marriage license

Yes thats why I was shocked when she said what is ur SS#. Maybe she is new :(

No US state requires you to have an SSN before you can obtain a marriage licence, but if you do have an SSN then you must declare it at that time.

In that case, ask for a supervisor, and keep going up the chain until you find someone who isn't an idiot.
