I-130 sent to NVC

Hi! Everyone I'm new to this, so please be patience. My dad filed an I-130 for my grandma on April-16-2015 uscis received form pretty quick but after giving my dad the receipt # they took forever to give him some type of answer, around dec or Jan 2016 they send my dad for a DNA test, he got it done right away, and then confirmed that they got it, my dad called them at the end of August or beginning of September for an answer, by sept-15-2016 they finally approved the case. "Yay" and got the approval notice on the mail like 10 days after or less, he called yesterday oct-04-2016 to see if they send the notice to the NVC and they said they didn't but later that night they update it the case that they send the case to NVC, Awesome, now what?? How long it takes for NVC to receive the case and send him a PIN number ? And from now how long it can take for my grandma to receive an interview?? We will really appreciate your help. Please share your experience. Oh, and he is a US citizen and my grandma is in the Dominican Republic. Thanks again

Hi I will take about 15-30 days to receive your case from uscis then nvc will take at least 2 weeks to give you a case number then after that you have to go through the process of choice for agent for the petition, ds-261.. Filling out the AOS&THE IV PAPERWORK. Ds-260 FORM in that order. And when you send in both packages AOS &IV it takes 6 weeks to be reviewed then on to case complete then on to interview at the embassy.

If I was you I would call NVC 7:00am on Tuesday morning to find out more about your case

Hi teddy, my dad called the NVC and they gave him the case number. What's next or what can we do to make the process faster??? Thanks I appreciate your help
