How long between completing DS-160 and Interview

I have K1 approval and so just did the DS 16- and am awaiting scheduling of the interview.

What is my expected wait time after finishing the DS-160 and doing the actual interview?

I have done the DS-160, but the online form says I need to wait until I receive and email from them before I get an actual interview date.

I am trying to schedule my trip over there. I am going to go there for the interview, and then wait until we get the actual Visa and then we will return to US.

I am thinking of being there for about a month.

But I have no idea how long these things are going to actually take. I don't want to be away from job over a month (will do some work from there - computer work).

If someone could give me a vague idea, that would be really helpful. I would like to go in about two weeks, but I don't want to head off too soon either. We have been apart for 4 months and it's a bit stressful. Oh poor me.

Yes, Moscow the interview is in Moscow. You mean I can expect to be able to schedule an interview for 10 days from now? Or 10 days after I get the email to schedule? That's pretty fast.

It took us about a week to get a notice to schedule then the next available appointment was about 16 days out after she was approved at the interview it took her 8 days to get her passport back with the visa in it. We emailed the consulate in Moscow and give them her information and that let us schedule a appointment faster. I cant remember what i had to include in the email because it was 4 years ago.

Excellent. Thanks for the data. Yes, I got my appointment email only 1 day after finishing DS160. We are now scheduled for Nov 1 interview. There were earlier dates available if I wanted, but that is good for my schedule.
