My fiancé in the Philippines had her interview on June 29th at that time she was approved, but has yet to get her visa. She has called 3x's and has Been told it (visa) was going to be sent that week, yet no visa. Is this typical or should we be concerned?

Have you checked the status of of the visa issuance in CEAC? It should be possible that its under AP. Go ahead and check the ceac status.

Adjustment Of Status Timeline:

09.01.2016 --- Received by USCIS

09.12.2016 --- NOA 1 Text Notification

09.17.2016 --- NOA 1 Letter Received

09.21.2016 --- Biometrics Letter Received

10.05.2016 --- Biometrics Appointment

11.05.2016 --- EAD/AP Approved

11.18.2016 --- Combo Card Delivered

11.25.2016 --- Green Card/I-485 Approved (No interview)

12.02.2016 --- Received NOA2 for I-485

12.02.2016 --- GC received

 

I-90 Timeline (USCIS Error: 10 Year GC given instead of 2 Years)

12.05.2016 --- I-90 Packet Sent to Phoenix

12.08.2016 --- I-90 Packet Received by USCIS

12.20.2016 --- NOA 1 Text & Email Notification

12.24.2016 --- NOA 1 Mail Received

01.03.2017 --- SSN (Without Restriction) Received

01.04.2017 --- I-551 Stamp Received (Valid for 1 Year)

01.14.2017 --- NOA1 for ELIS online account activation

01.20.2017 --- Biometrics Letter Received

02.01.2017 --- Biometrics Schedule

AP sometimes lasts more than we want to, so I bet they are still working on it. If they kept the passport then just wait for the ISSUED status. You can't do anything but just to wait and wait, until the AP changes to ISSUED. Was a 221g requested or anything?

Yes they have her passport, and did tell her two weeks ago that there was another person with her name who had a arrest record, but were able to resolve the issue. So I'm hoping that will take care of the problem.

But what bothers me is that they never notified her about this investigation, or even ask for additional information, when she called all she was told was that the visa was on the way. Then finally two weeks ago, they informed her of this confused identity issue. But should be happy because it seems the issue was resolved, now we just wait, they said they would send her a e-mail soon.

Your AP is a bit on the long-ish side, but it seems as though the embassy has resolved the issue, so hang in there!
