But wouldn't he be denied a visa for that too? To come here to me? How long could he stay? I know nothing about all this! I thought I researched everything but I was shocked we got denied!

It's not likely he would get a visitor visa at this point.

Lots of people visit the US every year.

Obviously we just know the details you have shared, so impossible to comment on the specifics.

im from the UK so i never had to apply for a visa previous to me visiting cause my country i was from was under the VWP (visa waiver program) i just filled out a form on the plane this was before it went electronic... Some countries need to apply for a b2 i believe that the tourist visa which allows them to come and vacation for a short period of time... I dont know the condition of the b2 tourist visa since but i know once i entered the country i could stay for max 90days at any 1 time then i would need to depart... Some people on the AOS forums came on the B2 tourist visa got married within a month and filed straight for the AOS to get there green card

Is that illegal? I want to do it the right way! But I also know I want him here with me and he wants to be here with me

To my understanding it is extremely difficult, almost impossible for a single man to get a Visitor Visa from The Gambia / Dakar.

Lots of people may visit the US every year, but more than likely they are not from Dakar or The Gambia.

not to my knowledge its not illegal cause USCIS approve's Green cards to people adjusting from B2 visa's everyday without penalty... BUT if you come over on a B2 with intent to marry i do think it become illegal at that point but im not sure.. If you have intent to marry then I think you need to go via a k1 OR you can get married then file for a CR1 which is a spouse visa.. Once again ive never dealt with a B2 visa so i dont know the conditions of the b2 visa so i would read up on it or visit the B2 section this website or go to the AOS section and talk with people who are adjusting from a B2 visa... All i can say is do ALLOT of reading and way up your options

There is a tendency on here to assume the worst, I am guilty as well, but I remember when I used to fly out of Heathrow, the next area was full of obviously wealthy Nigerians heading home loaded up with shopping. So it depends.

That is fraud when it's planned to do.

I do not believe he will get any kind of visitor visa for US and especially when he just got a denied K-1 visa.

its fraud if your entering on intent on marriage on a b2

He owns a Cell phone repair shop. His family lives there. I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. He has ties to the Gambia because that's where he's from, where he grew up.

I visited and had a traditional engagement ceremony in public in front of 200 people. I had known my fiancee from when we were both living in South Africa and stayed in touch(but i was still married then) and after I got divorced we established our relationship formally. I sent my flights, pics of the ceremony, the invitations and some email correspondence in the previous months stating our feelings in advance of the trip. Should I be worried now? Have people been approved having only met in person once? Is multiple visits the norm, or the exception?

Yes people have been approved with only one visit. It just that some embassies want to see more facetime so to high fraud from that country.

But yes I think most people who are getting married visits more then once.

I have another question... Does this letter mean the same thing as being put on AP??

No

Back to his business, what happens when he leaves, does he have a management structure for it to continue?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
