K1 visa approved in Santo domingo, but now under AP

Can anyone who had petitioned a k1 visa in DR and was not present for the interview share their experience?

My fiancée had her visa approved on 9/21/2016, however, I was not present for the interview. Now her visa status says under AP, can anyone whom may had a similar experience share how long did it take before visa was issued. I understand that every case is diffent, just want to have a general idea.

Meee i was in ap 32 days after said approved. Interview 8/19 visa finally issued 9/21.

After issued he picked up same day at mega centro.

Its normal just reelaxx stressing wont change anything.

Hopefully it will change in a few days.

It is so hard not to loose patience, I guess my not attending the interview did not really affect anything since it was approve. I'll give it a month and see what happen.

Did the CO return all the pictures/proofs that you submitted to to USCIS with the I129F petition back to you or did he/she kept all of it after the interview?

I wasnt given anything i requested my original bc back.

CO was very nice aswell i know people who have been issued at day 8 (business day) some two days later then me 32 days....

I was freaking out specially seeing everyone fly by getting theres.

If it updated next day will be issued...

I know exactly what you mean, it does not help at all to see others getting theirs so promptly and yours is not. I know that it is still early in my case, kipping fingers crossed!!!

nope, no updates at all on the dates

last update was one day after the interview on 9/22/2016 (AP), nothing changed

now I try tracking the passport as well in ustraveldocs, as of last week the status was "your passport is still with U.S. embassy/consulate"

but since this morning the status says "there is no status update available for the passport number submitted"

any ideas??????

Mine after a few days didn't say anything with traveldocs and with mailbox mbe.

When you see that date change the next few days it will ISSUED they upday in the mornings I found but I checked all day....

And as soon as it's ready for pick up they email. My ISSUED and picked up the 21st. But I had delivered in Santo Domingo mailboxes in mega centro.
