Ok so we went to immigration appointment today at 7 this morning. We were first to be called and interview went smooth. Lasted no more than 15 minutes. Officer was very polite and respectful. He looked through our file asked some general questions and he told us our case looks straight forward and will make his decision this week. He said that he does not see a problem and wife should be getting her 10 year permanent residence card within in 2 months. By the way we are lifting her conditions he told us. Not AOS.

That's why it really helps to fill in your timeline, as when you make an enquiry on VJ people can see what kind of visa/ card you have and what stage of the process you are at. We can't help you if we don't know this, nor if you use the incorrect terminology to describe what paperwork you have filed.

And yes, if she came over on a CR-1 then she would be removing conditions (ROC) after 2 years. AOS is for people who came over on non immigrant visas and are adjusting to permanent residence. If they AOS within two years of a K1 visa, then they would also get a two year conditional green card, same as your wife got via a CR-1. A CR-1 is a pre-approved (conditional) permanent residency card, which is why it takes longer to get than a K1 visa, but means you don't have to go through AOS when you first enter the USA with it.

Honestly with all the dates and appointments I just could not fill out our timeline correctly. We are at the point of just waiting for Permanent Green Card.
