AOS from K1: G325A: Addresses do not fit - Attached sheet help

Hello!

My husband and I are currently filling out the paperwork for my Adjustment of Status from the K1 visa that I arrived on Sept 11th. - We were married September 23rd and have all the documents ready to go apart form the G325A Biographical Information sheets as both our home addresses and work addresses do not fit in the boxes provided on the form.

We were previously advised by USCIS direct that we should write 'See Attached Sheet' within those boxes and fill out the details on a separate word document to be supplied with each form, however we did not note down what other details needed to be on the form (e.g. the form it was for, who it was for and any other numbers that need to be provided such as my passport number, A number or otherwise.)

We just called again to ask what other identifying details needed to be on this sheet, only to be told by the worker at the USCIS that they are unable to provide that sort of information, and instead directed us to an attorney.

It seems bizarre that the first person we spoke to was happy to provide this information, but the second could not, and was wondering if anybody here has had to do this previously, and if so, what details did you provide? - Also any tips on layout would be incredibly valuable as we have no template to work from.

Many Thanks

Sophie

It just needs to be something simple like this. You will put it immediatelky after the G325A document in your packet. On the G325A write "See attachment" in the box the attachment applies to.
Last Name, First Name
Form G-325A Attachment
'Question'
'Line Number'
'Box Description'
Enter what you would put in that box here in full

The other "trick" is to hand write whatever doesn't fit when you try to type into the form. Then you can make the longer entries fit.

Thanks for your help.

We had thought about handwriting the entries but were told by USCIS that the forms couldn't be a combination of typed and handwritten information, that it had to be one or the other.

We'd prepared some of the other forms prior to me coming to the US and so I did not yet have a US contact number, so we had added it by hand once I entered the country, but were told that the forms would be rejected if we did this.

I used what I showed above as an attachment and had no problems. My issue was getting long Brazilian addresses to fit in the spaces provided. There was one other form where I added one part of a name in writing, but otherwise I typed everything and used attachments where needed. Everything was processed by USCIS without issue.

Sudden thought, (I might be being really stupid here)

As part of the K1 petition we were required to submit a G325A for both me and my partner, for the AOS do only I (the one applying to stay) need to fill one out?

Thanks
