Hi,

I am applying under F1 as the son of a USC. I had my interview at the Montreal Consulate on September 12th, was approved, and a 221(g) was not issued. I was told to wait two weeks to receive my Visa/Passport through courier. The two weeks have come and gone, with no visa in sight. The status update date has changed a couple of times, but the status itself has not shown anything other than “Ready”. I e-mailed the embassy and a full week has passed by with no response. I am very disappointed in the long wait time, and am getting a little worried as to what’s going on. Any idea whats going on here?? Is this normal?

Thanks in advance!
