I entered the USA on K1.

Curently married, AOS pending.

I would like to know whether it is possible to apply for EAD without submitting the AOS and other stuff.

I am getting varied responses to this..

Need to take care of some paperwork issues before filing my AOS.

Request some clarification ...

You can't be AOS pending if you haven't filed your paperwork yet. No, you can't get EAD without filing AOS first.

K3 CAN get an EAD without filing for AOS. K1 cannot. Since you are K1, you have to file for it with/after I-485.

Actually, you can file for EAD as a K1, but it will expire with the I-94 after 90 days. Since it will take 60 - 90 days to get the EAD, there's not much point.
