Dear Visajourney Community,

Thank you again for your help!

I have received Packet 3 from the US Consulate in Frankfurt which redirected me to the checklist of documents to provide. The third bullet point on the checklist is called "Fees" and indicates that you have to register to the website ww.ustraveldocs.com/de in order to pay the fee.

In addition the text reads "You will not be able to schedule your appointment without payment of the online fee." In this regard, I would like to know if I have to pay the fee now that I am sending the requested documents or if I have to pay it at a later stage when the consulate asks me to book an appointment.

I am a bit confused about the process, sorry! Many thanks for you assistance on this!

from what I remember the fees are paid when you book the interview appointment.
