Does the K2 child have to live and stay with the Fiance parent or can they stay somewhere else with another relative?

Is there any consequences to me, the petitioner, if the the K2 visa holder does not intend to or does not live and stay with me an my Fiance?

I don't think it will cause problems for you as the petitioner.

I think it will raise questions at the AOS stage for the K1 and K2, but i you have a good reason )you travel abroad a lot as a couple, kid stays with relative to attend school, or child is college age and attends college in another state sort of thing)

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
