I am done with my interview yesterday, October 1, 2016. It was tough during the pre-screening with a Pinay personnel. She asked random questions about our relationship. Our relationship started virtually for a year then decided to go home and get married. First time physical meeting and then married. She asked me how we've met, I asnwered we were introduced by a family friend and we are living in the same province. She then emphasized we met then get married? I said yes because we planned it. She then asked of photos. I handed her an album. She asked if its a beach wedding, I said yes. She then told me to proceed to finger scanning.

When I was in the hotel, I kept thinking if the Pinay persnonnel during pre-screening asked me if my husband has kids, which he has, but I answered no. She asked random quick questions and I was unconsciuosly overheard the question. I didn't mean to lied. I was just very fast Q&A.

The final interview with a lady Chinese officer. She is gentle and asked politely objective questions. She then said congratulations and welcome to America, just wait for the visa 5-7 days delivery, do you think im approved?

My CEAC status still ready for interview. Im confused it might affect my approval. Thank you.

Ya I know ... if you had your visa in hand you could then head over to CFO.

The Pinoy pre-screen asked us lots of questions also, no big deal.

The pinoy prescreeners can be a lot tougher than the 'kano consular officers, but don't worry about it. When the 'kana welcomed you to America, that meant that you were approved. Congratz...!

Another sign is if they kept your passport. So relax. Spend some time with family while you can.

Hi guys, my interview was on October 3, 2016 not October 1. I checked the stat in CEAC and it is still ready for interview. Only the dates were being updated. First date is October 3, the interview day, and today October 5, but still ready for interview. Why its like that?

Don't know why.

Do it actually state READY FOR INTERVIEW or READY?

Either way I would not stress about it, status will change when your case file is reviewed, for now it is sitting.
