Typically Boston ceremonies are a lot smaller.  They do at least one massive one like that a year though.  Crazy!

Marcuchios, same thing with me 3 weeks ago in Atlanta. Still haven't heard anything so the waiting continues. They told me I should hear within 60-90 days, sometimes I feel like it's never going to end.

Actually that was just applicants; no family member included!

Cool! Yes she was late! The ceremony itself was short but it took us forever to get in and out of there. Nuts!

Wow, that's huge. It took about 3 hours to get in and out of my ceremony in San Diego which had 1000 applicants, so I can only imagine that the logistics of a 2500 person ceremony would be all that much worse.

I am a US Citizen !!!!

 

We were around 50 people, family were allowed to get in after we checked in.

 

Just to be careful.. One applicant for naturalization was sent out because he couldn't say a single word of English to the USCIS officer when she was asking him questions. I don't know what will happen to him.

So we're in Washington DC for a few days, we met with our State Representative this morning in the Capitol and had a tour of the House. It's put things in a little bit of a context for me which isn't a bad thing 2 weeks before my interview - and I'll surely not forget the representative's name now!
