I was also anxious just like you since many applicants with Interviews after me had already become USCs, So I made 2 InfoFail appointments, which were complete waste of time and energy. You can see my timeline for details.

 

Thanks. My status was just updated 2 days ago to "in line for oath scheduled". 

Hopefully it won't take too long to get a date for the Oath Ceremony!

Naturalized today at Newark, NJ. Horrific traffic arriving there despite leaving early. Also long line outside of the building for security. I got there just shy off 0900 hours for a 0900 interview and waited approximately 90 minutes in the waiting area before getting called in. The interview took maybe fifteen minutes and the lady was really nice, although had a stoic demeanor at first. Was out of there just before 1100 hours and waited nearly 3 hours to receive and review my certificate. The oath ceremony was also a bit late at around 1415 hours. I expected it to all go a bit smoother, but not like I will be back there for another day. My advice to ease some anxiety is to leave way early and just have food near the building (wherever you naturalize) so that you are not pressed for time. Now I will be able to apply for law enforcement employment, which is probably the most desired perk for me personally.

Hello fellow filers. I don't know if my update can be considered good news. Firstly, I noted that on Feb 28, my online status changed to case in line for interview (NY). I recently moved (michigan) and updated my information with them. Yesterday June 1 I got an update saying "on June 1, 2017, we started the interview scheduling process."  I was already in line in NY.  Did i rejoin the line in Michigan due to my move ?

My husband has his interview today and it went well! His oath is scheduled for this coming Tuesday the 6th. I will update with more information about the interview as soon as he gets home!
