Thank you everyone! So even through I am a September filer, most of my Memphis peeps are here so I will share my timeline with you.

09-21-16 sent package

09-27-16 priority date

10-19-16 biometrics apt

10-25-16 in line for interview

04-04-17 interview 

05-18-17 oath ceremony

 

My journey took a total of 239 days or 8 months. 

 

The ceremony was small 60 people but only 58 attended + family members. The judge was friendly, and everything went smooth--before I knew it I was an amaerican! 

 

Best of luck to everyone and my Memphis peeps. Also, I did ask the immigration officer at the ceremony and it turns out that we keep the ANumbee forever.

I live in Nashville and I am having my interview right in the middle of the week. I have no problem with that. The only problem I have is that they scheduled my interview at 08AM. Couldn't they make it 12 or 01PM? I like Memphis, many things to see around the city but I do not want to spend money and stay the night

I want to update for Boston area. I had interview in mid April so today 5/19 got the letter for Oat ceremony. It will be on June 22. good luck you all.

I know, right! I am not even in TN, and they scheduled me for fingerprints early. I'd have to be up and on the road about 0500 to get there, and I am not a morning person.  I will go up the day before if they do that next time. I don't think they really look at where you are coming from.

We got the new interview date today - June 2nd! So it only ended up being 10 days after the original date, not bad at all.

You know, I've always kinda assumed I would have to go to the Memphis office for my interview despite the fact that I have never ever been there before in this process - always went to Nashville office for biometrics and never interviewed before at any point in the process. Reading posts from others here, I'm now wondering if they'll ask me to go to Nashville for interview and/ or oath...

 

From East Tennessee, Nashville is a 2-3 hour drive, compared with the 5 hr drive to Memphis. Guess I'll have to wait and see for that too.
