Never heard that before. I think you have been misinformed. Your LPR status does not expire because you card has!  You cannot be deported, or lose your N-400 application. That's the craziest thing I've heard today.  If you want to do anything, InfoPass to get an I-551 stamp in your passport. I can't find anyone in all the searches on Visa Journey that has been denied because they had a 10 year card expired.

Exactly an hour ago, I got the notification on my phone that my case has been updated... Just came home and checked the USCIS website... My interview has been scheduled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^_^  

I'll update as soon as I get my date in the mail...

The interview itself was short. I was asked 5 questions from American history, to read a short sentence and write a sentence that was given to me.

Since all answers were correct, I wasn't asked anything else. They checked all papers in my file since we filled papers back in 2009. 

Only docs I had to bring were driver's licence, green card and a passport.

Just got done with my interview in Baltimore.

I PASSED!

Oath date 03/08/17

 

Same interview experience as above. Was asked all of the Yes/No questions in the N400. Followed by the Civics and History test.

Some Qs I rememer: "What is the National Anthem of the US? , What do the 13 stripes of the American Flag represent? , What does the rule of law mean? "

 

There are three more I think, all from the 100 Qs USCIS provided.

On March 2, 2017, we scheduled an interview for your Form N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION, Receipt Number NBC*. We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

 

Getting closer. I'm excited

 

Funny thing I find is that it says the Saint Paul field office is processing cases as of March 20th 2016

 

Wonder how long it will take to get the interview notice letter ... How long should I wait before calling
