Sharp eyes, Shezi. I think we are all back where we were now?

Oops.. I spent so long combing through the last 2 pages that Shirezu beat me to it and posted an update! :D

So it seems that we are waiting for interview date updates from Kim&Jos and Uwe - this means we have 4 interviews for Dallas and 4 for Phoenix - seems like there is movement! I will be glad to get through this process before immigration rules change even more drastically!

We came close to having a triple up :) I was trying to work out where the missing one fit in, and Boom, there is was!

I think that's right, just the two dates coming up, soon I hope.  I wish they get a move on,  people like Frannyglass would like to know to book travel or whether to wait. Hard to know what to do, because there is no way of knowing when they will summon you. With my luck, I'd be away. I decided to pass on a seat sale, because I just don't know *when*.  Would have meant $900. in savings...meh. I'll be glad when I can come and go as I please.

I know, it's really frustrating when you're waiting to make a trip home! My husband had major surgery last week so we're going nowhere for a while, just as well since we're in travel limbo. I feel for those with trips booked or having to let flight sales go, we typically pay $1k to $1300 each for a flight to the UK and can't wait to be able to come and go as we please so we can find good deals. Everyone says that the naturalization process is the 'simplest' application process but it doesn't feel that way right now!

We made a few trips last year, my Husband finally being allowed permission to travel. He has a bucket list, and we are ticking things off.

We went to NZ in Feb/Mar for my former flatmates 80th. She had a fall two days before Christmas in 2015, and was in hospital for 5.5 months. I was glad I got to see her, and sort her out a bit. She also spent Christmas  this year in hospital, thankfully no broken bones this time, and was in for 6 weeks. I have threatened her that next year I might have to come down the second week of December, and plant a chair in front of the door. Her nephew said, "look Auntie Audrie, if you don't want to come to us  for Christmas lunch, could you not just say so"? :D

We drove up to Vancouver BC to see my son, which is a bit of a hike, really. I like to be off the roads by dark, and my husband can't really stand to sit for more than about 8 hours at a go, so we did it in short hops. Been ten years since I've seen him.

We did drive to Atlanta Georgie to see John Cleese and Eric Idle, which was excellent. And to Chicago to see the Americas cup races.

Air NZ had a seat sale in January, and the travel was good for up to 11 months, but, when do you book, eh? He has to travel Premium Economy, it's a 17 hour flight out of Houston, so that's about 4500. a seat, and that sale would have saved us $900. I hope they have another.

I keep reminding myself, that i volunteered this time . I didn't have to enter the USCIS dog and pony show. Here I am, though, all the same :D

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

If they are August filers, some of those will be IOE. Those had an issue with the 'new and improved" electronic filing. They have been slow as can be.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
