06/01/2017: Reply to RFE (N-14) Sent

09/20/2017: Email from Ombudsman confirming that they got in touch with USCIS, advised to wait 60 days.

09/22/2017: Request to find out about the case to Senator, acknowledged the receipt of inquiry.

10/02/2017: Ombudsman’s office notified that USCIS made a decision on the case and I will be informed by USCIS within 30 days.

10/02/2017: Talked with a Tier-2 officer and he informed my case was in line for oath since September 22nd, 2017.

10/10/2017: Online status changed to “Inline for Oath ceremony”

10/14/2017: Online status changed to “Oath Ceremony Letter Mailed”

11/03/2017: OATH CEREMONY!

Update: Received email from Ombudsman today saying the USCIS had made a decision on my case and because of that reason they will close the case as "Resolved." I called them right after receiving the email, and they told me to wait maximum 30 days for USCIS to contact me if they don't contact then Ombudsman's office will reopen the case and push USCIS again. :unsure:

 

Later I called USCIS and spoke with a Tier-2 officer, and he notified me that the case has been in-line for oath since September 22nd, 2017. They will send me a letter as soon as they have an oath ceremony date. <_<

 

The Ombudsman's office called USCIS on September 20th, 2017 and Senators office called them on September 22, 2017. So can't tell which one helped. I can not be excited until I am done with oath ceremony, after all these years of experience with USCIS, I am sure of one thing that anything can happen with USCIS. ;)

Oh my, I hope you get your letter for the oath soon! I'd say with all the attention your case is getting, anyone who drags the chain had better be ready to explain!

So today I had my interview in Houston, easy breezy, I passed and my application was recommended for naturalization, so yay? 🇺🇸

 

Oath Ceremony will probably be on November 15th, really looking forward to it!

So finally Oath is scheduled the date is November 3rd. USCIS, Senator, Ombudsman told me I was inline from September 22nd :wacko: but online status changed to "inline for oath" on October 10th. The oath was scheduled on 14th October. Waiting for the oath letter now. :D

We got our interview on the same day! He got his oath letter already, I’m still waiting for mine! We are already planing our post oath celebration anyways 😁 but hey! Hi from H-Town!
