Passport application submitted this morning - went for expedited since it otherwise processes in 6/8 weeks and not guaranteed. I don't like the idea of not being able to leave the US and am very aware I currently have no re-entry document! It reminds me of the period waiting for AOS!

 

I've had my certificate of naturalization for 24 hours and already given it away! :D

Shezi, did you apply for your passport through the post office, or is there some other way? I am thinking I'd like to do the expedited one myself.

I took it to the main post office that has a passport acceptance facility (Little rock has one) - they took a passport photo on site. They process in 3 weeks.

Cool. There isn't one here where I live, just a regular PO. My Husband got his passport here in town 2 years ago, and it was nearly three weeks to get an appointment!
