Am still waiting still haven't heard nothing yet after sending in my document almost 3 weeks now ... and I have to fit outside the country in a weeks times , don't know if it's safe to travel while my case is still pending but it's kinda important. Just sad at this point.

Just got a notice of my oat ceremony letter been sent out today , it's almost over for me thank you everyone and so glad 🙂 Tears of joy.

That can vary quite a bit, from office to office.  Mine is about 5 weeks after my interview, but some people get their oaths sooner.

@Ramz same office as cdneh, my oath ceremony is 5 weeks to the day after my interview. And I fitted in a cheeky little international trip home too - don't sweat it Ramz, I told my interviewing officer that I had an international trip coming up - she didn't think it was any kind of problem. Worst case, you tell them you're not available and they send you another date.

Question , when I go to the oat ceremony will I be given my citizenship certificate same day? And for those that have minor kids how do I apply for my sons passport , he's 7 I just want to get him the passport when getting mine and maybe apply fir he's citizenship certificate next year . Was wondering if that's possible he's here with me and have he's 10 years green card? Please help .

Your certificate should be prepared before the ceremony and ready for you. You will receive a welcome pack after the ceremony and there will be a passport application form in it. I believe there is a pack for everyone taking part in the ceremony.
