Just wondering, my notice says the ceremony is at 13:00. No mention of when I am supposed to get there?

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I didn't pose my question very well. :D

It has the date and the time. I suppose the 13:00 time is when they want you there, not when the actual ceremony starts. I'll bowl up at 20 minutes to, that ought to be enough. I guess :)

Hi Everyone, I had my interview today at NY, I applied base on marriage (3 Y rule). I passed the interview but received the following document N-14. I had most of the documents with me except the letter from the spouse's employer. I asked her that she can take what I had with me but she advised to submit everything again as listed in N-14. She said "it is better" to do it that way and nowadays it is a common practice. Personally, I feel it was unnecessary. I had submitted a mountain of documents to prove our marriage before.

I saw many people getting this document today. Based on current situation around the world I think they require to have all these documents before they approve anyone. During my interview 4 other IO officer came with their pending files which were waiting for N-14 documents and asked for approval from my interviewer and she approved in front of me.

My advice to all, Please go through the N-14 and make sure you carry these documents with you along with other documents you think they might ask for. Good Luck!!!;)

Wow xtrasome! I had no idea you were still waiting for them to sort this out! Good advice for anyone applying under the 3-year rule. Thanks for posting that, and for updating on what you have so far. I hope they sort you out soon, and I'm glad to see you have asked for assistance from the Ombudsman.

I feel very lucky now that I waited so long to apply.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Good luck xtrasome; you've waited long and it's very frustrating. Every single step in this process has taken between 7 and 9 months for me. I got to a point where I had to tune out the waiting. I hope you hear something very soon. Credit to you for patience!

Did anyone get an Oath Date from Dallas Office?

Hi Rana300- What does your status says ? I am from NOV 2016 filer- None of us who filed in NOV 2016 from this forum has received any interview letter. Have you taken an info pass to check why they aren't calling you for OATH ?

Had interview on July 3rd.

My status says...... in line for Oath, since July 11th.

I called USCIS today and created a case.

My Interview Officer told me that I should receive an oath letter in 4 weeks and the oath would be another 2 weeks later, roughly.
