Oath Ceremony is done. I am U.S.Citizen and Proud. It was a long trip.....(around 16 Years), I was not lucky to had a Voluntary Departure, but I consider my self lucky to end up becoming a U.S. Citizen.

The journey has came to an END fellows..............

Wish for all a Good Luck.......(F)

I've had no text or email updates. What I have got is the photo of today's mail from my Informed Delivery. I am getting a letter from USCIS, dated the 12th, and sent out the 13th.

Oh boy. I wonder what's gone pear shaped now :/

Why wouldn't that be your oath date letter? That's what would come next,  right? I wouldn't set any store by not having an update,  I'm not sure they're on top of that! :jest:

As it was written on the same day I was there, I would have thought they'd just have handed it to me.  I am thinking as this chap didn't go over my file, at all, never asked me anything that was on the application, didn't ask to see a blessed thing other than my GC, DL, and the letter they sent out to me, it might be an RFE.  I sure hope not.

 I see what you mean, we spent quite a bit of time on my file so I'm hoping that's the end of that part. I wouldn't assume the worst though and if it is a request, you've plenty of time to get something off to them since oaths look like they're going slowly. I'm still crossing my fingers for you though.

My son and his wife and baby are coming to stay with us for the first 2 weeks of September so, if the oath really takes 60 days to get to me, it could be slap bang in the middle of their visit. When I told my son, he said 'I'll buy a new suit' bless his English cotton socks... :D

Ok, not an RFE. Not an Oath letter. It says it is an answer to my service request. Trouble is, I didn't file a service request.

It does helpfully say that their records indicate that I was scheduled to appear on July 12th and that I did appear. "No further action is required from you".

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Got the letter of request for evidence today ,asking for IRS transcript for 3 years , proof of living with my husband since we have been married for 3 years , lease or rentals for 3 years and my passport pages . I thought I summited all this when I filed and still did when I did the remove condition . The only one I didn't have was the tax cos I wasn't working until last year. But have gotten the transcript for last year and letter from IRS starting that I didn't file tax and there was not use of my SSN in 2014/2015. I'll go to the bank and see if I can get 3 years worth of statement if not I'll just have them write a letter and explain. Guess I got some work to do on Monday by gathering 3 years worth of envidence. The worst part is that I was only given till August 8 to submit it why I just got the letter today, wish me luck guys ... and congrats to everyone who's process is over can't wait to be done!

Hi Ramz,

Yes! If it's an RFE from N-400 interview they only give 30day to submit the required docs. The day before my interview, the interviewer called me & advised to bring the recent docs especially the 2016 taxes (since this was not included last yr when I applied for naturalization.) I hope you'll be approved as soon as you submitted the required docs. Just submit the docs showing both of your names. :)  Good luck & God Bless.

Thank you , most of the bills only accept one name , so we only hand both of her name on the gas bill, others are in my husbands , but we have joint account, car insurance , health insurance , 2 cars in both our names , lease , rentals , I don't know if I can get as far as 3 years cos I submitted all when filling for remove condition didn't make copies , but I'll have then give me what they can and a letter explainng how far they could give me. My landlord wrote a letter staying we have been renting for over 4 years and she noterized it. I'll printed the check from October of last year till date .. I'll ask the bank to help if not write a letter, am not taking a chances , God help in getting everything.
