Marcuchios, same thing with me 3 weeks ago in Atlanta. Still haven't heard anything so the waiting continues. They told me I should hear within 60-90 days, sometimes I feel like it's never going to end.

I'm sorry for the late reply.  I am still waiting for an response. How about you?

Folks, congratulations to all those who have completed the process.

Remember, the process is absolutely DONE DONE (as in no more dealing with USCIS and Feds), only when you go to the SSA office and let them know that you are now a US citizen. Your SSN information needs to reflect that you are a US Citizen now and not a LPR anymore. Remember it's crucial and needs to be done, either now or later

Your SSN will not change, its just the SSA people need to know you are a citizen now. Don't ask me why they don' automate this and why this needs to be done manually, but what I have been told is that Immigration does not tell SSA office about your status change to US citizen.

Good Luck for folks who are awaiting updates!

Home from Memphis, all went well.

Asked the following  questions:

1 Who was the first President

2 Who is the Governor of your State

3 What is one promise you make when you become a US Citizen

4 What movement tried to end racial discrimination

5 Where is the Statue of Liberty

6 Name two national US holidays

He said it might be 3 months before there is an Oath letter in the post, most likely in Little Rock. If they don't have one in that time frame. I'd go back to Memphis.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
