Hey question does anyone have an idea what is happening with me? I filed for EAD AP GC on June 23, 2017 did my biometrics on July 21, 2017 have not heard anything about my case. Called Customer Service just put in my second inquiry into my EAD/AP and told to wait another 30 days for a reply then book an info pass appt.

K1 Visa

NVC Received : 2017/2/14

Consulate Received : 2017/2/16

Often times it depends on how busy your local service office is with other cases. The ead/ap seems to be processed in a different location than your I485. I would call customer service back and ask to speak to a tier 2 officer and maybe you can get more answers on the ead/ap/485 . the regular customer service people do not seem to ever have any answers.

We got an approval for our I485 yesterday,I assume the card will follow a few days later?   The EAD/AP card is invalid after the green card is issued?   Strange how these people work,we were told we would not hear anything about the I485 decision until April...

Talked to a Tier 2 Agent all I've been told is to wait again. It's been well over 90 days of processing. I could apply for a AB-60 license but they're basically for illegal immigrants here and as much as they say no one will judge you for it I feel like I would be wrongfully classified.

The instructions say; that you should file within a 90 day window of when your card is set to expire   but not a day earlier than 90 days or they will send your application back.

your card was issued in Sept of 2018 so 2 years will be on the day of issue in 2020   just count back 90 backs from that date. you will most likely get an extension letter like we did adding 18 months on your existing card due to backlog of work    hope this helps
