Thank you! I'm afraid these next 2 years will be far from "normal" as we will be spending time collecting all kinds of relationship evidence for the ROC process. Thank goodness it's only another year after ROC and then it's time for citizenship!

Bah, it's easy just live your lives normally and everything that happens is what they want to see....now we can travel together outside the US, looking forward to that.

Sorry to hear that, any ideas why? I really think the timing is more about where you are processing your visa, the city we live in isn't that busy so it went fast for us, but I could imagine that Chicago is one of the busiest immigration hubs behind New York and Las Angeles! Hope they can get it review soon for you.

Hi Java,

We use the Indianapolis local office,it is not really busy but we were definitely not the only ones there.  the officer made no mention to her as to why it was not approved. I was not taken back,only she went in with the interviewer. he ask a lot of questions but nothing she didn't have an answer to.

other than random mandatory reviews I have no idea why she didn't get approved. We got an RFE on the AP/EAD which I already mailed that to them overnight last week,it was due to her legl name change from when we married.

Our I765 got approved tonight,of course that was the least of our concern     are the I765 and the 131 tied together or are they totally separate cards?

They should be both together on the I-766 card.
