Hi everyone! I just saw a filer with a NOA1 dated Sept 27 which was approved yesterday October 21! OMG! We are almost there!

I have been tracking cases that were delivered to USCIS on the 29th September and they approved the first one yesterday!!! The wait is almost over....

K1 VISA
10/03/16....I-129F mailed to Lewisville, TX
10/05/16....Delivered at Lewisville, TX

10/07/16....NOA1 Date on Hard Copy Notice
10/11/16....NOA1 Text and Email. Case sent to CSC
10/17/16....NOA1 Hard Copy Received
11/02/16....NOA2 Approval (USCIS website)

11/08/16....NOA2 Hard Copy Received
11/22/16....NVC Received I-129F
11/23/16....Case Number Received

11/28/16....Case left NVC for consulate

12/02/16....Embassy Received. Case status set as "Ready"
12/07/16....Medical (Knightsbridge London) - Completed

12/10/16....Received Approved Petition Letter from Embassy
12/15/16....Interview - APPROVED!!!!
01/10/17....Visa Issued

Good luck on your journey.

I called USCIS today because I didn't receive a notice that they received my packet. The officer explained that sometimes they send them and sometimes they don't. I want too happy about that. Now I'm wondering if I'll receive any future notifications via text or email. I asked about my case and she said if I don't receive receipt number in the mail after 10 days then I should call back. This process is going to wreak havoc with my patience.

This new years? If you just sent in your packet I'm guessing 4-6 months to get approved? Anyways....I received my hard copy of NOA1 on the 20th, my I-129f was mailed on the 7th of October. When I check into the USCIS it still says refer to my receipt of the NOA1 for further directions...so I'm guess they are busy :)

Agreed. Even if it happened that fast, four months would be incredibly fast. Right now, according to VJ stats, it takes about 170 days from NOA1 to the interview.

Definitely call back to receive your receipt number, that is Important... Good luck to you as well! Keep me posted on your journey... I heard the Jamaica embassy is moving quite quick in regards to k-1 visa after approval that's 4 to 5months give or take, immigrant visa 6 to 8 months best of luck to you!!!

Our I-129F was received 10/18/2016 and sent to California for processing, I received the text/email and can check the status online. I still did not receive the receipt hard copy in the mail as yet. I know it's a waiting game at this point. Good luck everyone.

10/14/16-1-129F application mailed to Dallas, TX

10/21/16-NOA1 via text and email

10/31/16-NOA1 hard copy received, name misspelled, contacted USCIS

11/09/16-NOA2. Received text stating case was updated. Checked USCIS website, case listed as approved

12/07/16-NVC case number received

12/08/16-CEAC status: READY

01/25/17-Medical completed

02/21/17-Interview-approved pending medical 

03/02/17-Visa issued

03/09/17-Visa in hand

05/12/17-POE-Atlanta

06/17/17-Wedding

07/01/17-AOS, EAD, and AP application mailed to Chicago, IL via USPS
