I certainly hope so,the waiting game is no fun. but once there is an approval, the rest should go by fairly quickly.

Ok so now that I'm approved, what next lol I know it's the nvc. So do I get notification that it's on the way to NVC or do I just wait 2-3 weeks and call?

Yes, it's another waiting game :( Its universal and everyone agrees that start calling in 2 weeks. I think our case took like 26 days before I got the case number.

Never mind... found the answer.... Apparently that applies only to CR1s and NOT K1's.

Its a generic statement. Im glad they just randomly shoot out generic statements. I mean... how about "Sorry - better luck next time" or something like that?

Same here. Also one more day this week for good news on the board. I got great info. from someone about Malawi doctors for,medical and thinking things will go exceptionally quick in January.,keep positive all.

Received my case number from Nvc today....this process is moving relatively quick, I am happy at the progress thus far...

Our case shows as "Ready". Waiting for packet 3 now. :D

No need to wait for Packet 3 if your embassy has it on their web site or is willing to e-mail it to you. Contact them for more information.
