Hey, you can call them anytime after you have receive NOA 2, although I think the recommended wait time is 2 weeks after NOA 2. You'll need the hardcopy to provide details over the phone I believe I think a lot of users have reported it taking around 30 days for their cases to be received after NOA 2. You'll basically keep calling until you can get confirmation that your case has been received and get your case #.

We got approved Dec 6.. sondo we need to start counting 6th of december for another 2 weeks then call NVC?? And one more question when we get our case number do we have to wait for the NVC letter or message before we can set up and appointment for interview??

My fiancé called NVC and our case left on Monday. I used the DHL tracker and apparently it arrived to the embassy in Madrid this morning, but CEAC still says "in transit". I guess it takes some time to open the package and change the status?

I just had this experience. It varies by embassy. It took 10 whole days for the Bangkok embassy to mark our case as "ready" after DHL confirmed it had arrived. Most other embassies take 3-5 days.

I think for now the easiest route is to call them on 603-334-0700. Have your uscis case number handy

Congrats!!! You should have your case number within 3-5 days. Next up is the delivery to your fiancee's embassy!

You could really call anytime, 2 weeks is just suggested! NVC should give you all the information you need over the phone, so I don't think waiting for the hardcopy is necessary

We received our NOA2, it says that NVC is going to process our case. According to NOA2 it would take 2-4 weeks.

Should we call NVC to track our request? Or should we wait for their notification + case #?

I think it took us around 27 days to get our case number from NVC, once you get that number you don't have to wait for the physical copy. You can set up your interview, the medical and do the DS-160. THIS INFO IS FOR A MANILA/PHILIPPINES K1, I don't know if it applies to other countries. Good luck in your journey
