Day 21 and NVC still does not have my case hopefully by the end of the week

The wait is so stressful, hang in there! I am still waiting also for a case #

I wish I had wise words/advice for you guys other than...just try to be patient. And believe me, once you have your case number, you'll want to see confirmation that the embassy received it. And so on, and so on...

Day 48 of being patient for the NOA2. My fiancé is losing hope. I'm trying to tell him that this is just normal procedure. It's hard trying to keep him in good spirits so far away

Interesting. Looks like the embassy in the Philippines doesn't post Packet 3 on their website. (Thailand does, however.) You may have more luck posting in the subforum specific to your country.

It appears to be the new normal. As in longer wait times. Still less than the 90 day average from a few years ago.

They no longer do Packet for K-1 in PI.

They might still for spousal though.

You / She needs nothing from embassy.

Just pay via BPI. For ds-160 and schedule interview.

Get medical done and CFO

I reviewed for Cases received on 10/28 (not Noa 1)

I found 138 cases I-129f

68 unapproved

38 approved

3 rejected

And

A wooping 26 RFE's

Yes you are correct....my fiancee in the Philippines will get the "packet" from the US Embassy in Manila once they receive it from the NVC and then mail to her. But it is just instructions on what to do next, which we can find on VisaJourney in the guides section....the link Jim posted is all you need for Philippines info.

Oh no @your fiancé loosing hope! It might sound condescending to say this but forever is a long time and there are going to be A LOT more hurdles in the relationship where the K1 came from. It's not easy I know when something is pending but don't lose sight of the actual relationship in waiting for the paperwork our love stories are not of the smoothest path but finding your SO is so worth the trouble.

The holidays apart are the worst so brace yourself for the next couple of weeks after that time flies and this will be history.
