Current wait time at NVC is 21 to 30 days.

So Dec 23 to Jan 31st or so for you.

If I were you I would call in 14 days because you might be a lucky one who gets to NVC sooner

Yahoooooo! We have the interview scheduled in Manila on the 19th of December! I could have gotten sooner but she needs to do the medical the week prior.....really on the home stretch now!

Oh, and Jim I took your advice and she got a chest x-ray this weekend, it came back looking good. Just need to book her and aunts flight and hotel for a week. Anyone have a suggestion as to a somewhat inexpensive, close and safe hotel near the embassy?

Hey Jeff, awesome progress there.

Ok what date will she do medical because they need some time between to get the results to embassy.

I think I sent you this link before but I'll add it again right below:

http://dennyeyberg.wixsite.com/filipino-am-visa/medical-exam (the link here is what I used last year, hope nothing changed so she may need to verify on her end)

Great news about the xray. she can bring it with results to St. Lukes and provide it if there is an issue with their findings. They do their own test but at least you have a pretty good idea no delay coming for TB.

Here is a video to a highly recommended hotel that many have used. There are others of course.

- This gal was just there a few months ago , she has other informative videos about the process and just did it last month or so. You may want to send her youtube links to your GF there.

Try agoda.com I've been using the for 7-8 years.

Excited for you guys.

Still waiting as you know for our NOA 2. DAY 35 i guess...Ugggg

Other than calling how do you know when packet has been sent to nvc

I believe there is a letter that is sent out but it will be well after NVC already has the file so call call call. 14 days after NOA 2. That is my plan.

Congrats again.

Thanks Jim, I will go over all that info. She will fly into Manila on the 11th of December and do the medical Monday and Tuesday, hopefully she can do CFO Weds, Thursday or Friday...then her Interview is on Monday the 19th. I hope I'm not pushing the time limit?

Hopefully that should be enough time. Important to get there early on Monday as 1st come 1st serve.

If St. Lukes tells her 19th to close than she can always reschedule the interview.

2 things about that.I believe 1 change is free then if 2nd change then the fee for interview has to be changed again.

Also if she cancels for 19 then 20 and 21 "might" not be available if she needs to reschedule after her interview.

So much is about timing.

I would probably just stick with how you have it unless others with more recent experience ( or if she contacts ST. Lukes prior to interview) tell you that 3 working days (and 5 calendar days) between medical and interview are not enough.

All up to you though.

Wow-- i see people on here with interview completed 84 days beginning to end in Ukraine. That is a pretty fantastic turnaround time. I have budgeted for 5 months.

Is there a way to track progress from NOA2 - NVC - London embassy online anywhere? or will we have to call?

You have to contact the NVC by phone or through their website.

Got a letter in the mail today from our good friends at the NVC. Not terribly exciting but it's nice to have a piece of paper showing progress. For those of you still waiting on NOA2 or NVC, try to be patient. It took 26 days for us to get our NVC number although our NOA1 > NOA2 approval was relatively fast at 22 days.
