It's driving me nuts that I can't have a wedding date yet. I'm planning the wedding now because we plan to get married soon after he gets his visa so I have to have most of the planning done now and then book things later that I have already decided on but almost everything needs a wedding date anyone in a similar situation?

Here's an idea: we are planning to do a civil/courthouse wedding within a few weeks of her arrival. Then, we'll file the AOS paperwork and have time to plan a nice reception. That might be a good route for you to take. Just thought I'd share.

We sent the response to the RFE this morning. We got the letter on Friday and they wanted more proofs that we had met in person within the last 2 years, which makes no sense. We sent in the original package passport stamps, boarding passes, photos, etc. So we just sent the same documents and added a few receipts from both.

Btw, the letter said that they don't want copies of emails, texts, skype conversations, phone calls, etc. They don't count as proof.
