Hi!

I sent my I-129F on Oct 24, received email notification today (Nov 2) that my case was accepted and forwarded to the California Service Center.

Good luck everyone!

Congrats on the progress. Baby steps.

I hope to hear something new soon, when logging onto the USCIS site it still says the same thing...sigh..I sent mine off Oct 7th, recieved 11, hard copy 16th of October...it just says recieved and to follow directions from the instructions....of NOA1 hard copy...probable get something soon I'm just not very patient ...sigh

Vent away that is what we are all hear for. Having been through this before I can tell you, you will need a bit of patience. LOL

Maybe watch the horror show 90 Day Fiancee on TLC to pass the time.

Or if you want to be a real boy scout you can start preparing for a possible RFE by gathering additional proof of relationship info it seems like that is the main reason people are getting them other than simple fixes such as missing signatures.

Hopefully you made a near duplicate copy of the entire petition that you sent to USCIS.

We got an RFE as well. I guess next week we see what the issue is? Will they tell you explicitly? I hope so.

Good luck on your RFE. We got ours on Monday and we're waiting for the letter. They should say exactly what is missing in it.

We received our NOA1 on Oct 4th. Unfortunately on Oct 31st they informed us that a RFE was sent to us. Tomorrow my bf will check his mail box again in order to review what is its root cause.

We included all the documents and evidences asked for them. ????? this new has been simply ?.

Really sorry to hear about your RFE. But, as others have said, at least it's not an outright denial. From what I gather, as long as you follow the RFE instructions, an approval should be forthcoming soon after USCIS receives your reply. Chin up!

Just got our NOA2! So excited! I just spoke with my fiancee and we're incredibly thrilled that it only took 22 days to get to this point. Hoping the wait at NVC isn't too bad. Fingers crossed...
