tsk3. still the supervisor told you that? because agent has different response but when you ask a supervisor they have most of the time same response. by the way I received an email after I sent an email inquiry and this is the content.

"The NVC received all documentation necessary to complete processing of your case. Your case is now waiting for a visa interview to be scheduled at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in MANILA, PHILIPPINES. All parties to this case will be notified when an interview is scheduled.

"

IMPORTANT: The applicant(s) should NOT confirm travel arrangements, sell property, or resign employment until the U.S. Embassy or Consulate issues a visa to them.

Please be advised that we schedule interview appointments based on the capacity of the respective U.S. Embassy/Consulate General. We are unable to predict when an interview will be scheduled."

does this mean it is complete or not? I still don't see 3 N/As.

My wife is trying to get her parents here. The NVC has our papers for 8 weeks now. She called tonight and they said they are waiting a interview date. Should I have gotten an email to confirm that, or was my wife just told that to get her off the phone? How would I know for sure the case is complete?

Thanks! can you answer my question above in this post?

this email i received is after I send an email inquiry about my case so NO I haven't received any confirmation email that my case is complete.

and NO that response probably means their case is complete and just waiting for the interview date as I do.

you will get a confirmation email once you have an interview date.

would you mind sharing when did your wife called the NVC and received that response? Thanks.

You are absolutely right.. when i called NVC yesterday, agent told me that they count six weeks only business days ( 42 business days) not weekend. My scan date is 29th aug and my six weeks complete on monday.. but as per her i need to wait one more week. Its confusing.. every agent had diffrent response..

my suggestion is to speak with a supervisor and not with an agent..

Thanks for your answer. Yes, this is the response my wife received from NVC. It has been 8 weeks, we have called for the last 4 weeks. They had been saying, "under review" But last night they said, "waiting for an interview date"

Hi just so everyone knows the supervisor tells the agent if you see one of us regulars calling in give them this story it seems like when you are calling alot sometimes we get the same agent and you can tell by their tone of voice here comes more bull#### or they hesitate telling us their going to check something that's when the supervisor is giving them a Q to get us off the phone
