Another question. In the beginning of schedule an appointement steps you should choose a visa type. My application is K1 Visa which is a non immigrant visa. But once i selected it thé K1 visa fiancée doesn't appear. I found k1 visa fiancée in the category of immigrant visa. How is possible this ?? What can i do ?? Thank you for your réponses.

Just choose the immigrant visa. Afterward, you will be able to select the k1 visa. While not all who get married in the US apply for adjustment of status, most do. For some reason, it's listed under immigrant visa everywhere official.

that is how it is ... nothing to worry about .. K1 visa technically is non immigrant visa type but it is intended to immigration so it is list under the immigrant visa category.

for the fee payment receipt number just put your NVC case number ... the one starts with ALG2016xxxxxx...and you are right you will pay the visa fee in cash on your interview day.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I know you're going to pay on the day of the interview, so this may not be relevant. However, I paid using Paypal, because I was not in the country at the time. I had to use the email of my paypal account as the receipt number. Is it possible for you to pay ahead of time?

Thanks forme your clarifications. But regarding the receipt number , i put the case number but it can't process. Please any other suggestions ?

what do you mean you can not process ? is it stuck at step 8 where you put the cae number then you get a red warning ?

if it is the case we all had the same issue in the beginning ... after the embassy emailed us the packet 3 email we were able to move forward.

did you get the packet 3 yet ?

there is no way to pay the fee ahead in this embassy ... it is the only way and you have to wait for them to process your case first to be able to go forward and book an appointment.

Yes exactly ; I insert my case number and i get tyhe red warning , so what does it means ? us what I understand from your explanation I should wait until I will be emailed from US embassy ? and if it's the case , what I will receive fron US embassy ?

Up to now , only my fiancee (petitionner who received this letter that our petition and case number already received in US enbassy in algeria with some attached files such as fiancee requirement , pamphlet...etc. should I wait to receive something from US embassy in algeria to let me continue the schedule apointement steps ?

no you should not wait for anything from the embassy. that was the email i was talking about. it has the requested paperwork you should bring to the interview.

so seem like the embassy did process your case and sent you the email and they are supposed to unlock you to go and book a date.

sometimes it took couple of hours to a day to get it unlocked. im sure you got your email long time ago. right?

i will suggest to check again the information you provided to creat your account if everything is okay and still nothing. email the embassy and let them know.

Thank you very much redone. i still try but nothing . now its passed 4 days and i cant get an appointment. it suck in the step 8.

Please which information I should make for the question IV case ID ,? Probably I made an error on this stage , because I filled it with my case number , and once its loaded it looks like ALG2016..........Bpb. is it okey ?

yes that is okay and at some point if you get passed that stage you will have to check a box saying MRV fee something ... and after that you end up with a message saying no available dates.

my case arrived to embassy august 10 ... i got stuck in that step till i got my packet 3 email on august 15. then no available dates for appointment till September 19 where i was able to have date
