Hello VJers

We just got the Admin Processing status update today. before that, it was "ready" status, open case, check back in two days.

our question is, is the first Ready, in the chain the one that says "Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have received interview scheduling instructions."

UNDER IMMIGRANT VISA??

and is the second "Ready" is one that says "case open, check back in two days"?

can we assume that the AP update we get is the one that precedes the "issue" update?

thanks VJ'ers!!

and God bless us all!

Yes thats normal way it goes. AP usually 2 to 4 days. Not long than it will go to Issued. So hang on it's coming.

is the first AP one that happens during the actual interview itself? i mean we've seen two "ready" statuses but only one AP, we're thinking the first AP occurred during the interview when neither one of us were at the pc to check the status and that is why we never saw it.

We are in the same boat. the visa status at ceca kept updates from the same day of interview 25th, 27th and 30th to 'READY' consecutively then on OCT 31st the creation date and update both of them changed to OCT 31st then to 'ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING' and the status visa went from immigrant to nonimmigrant. Since then there is no update.
