Port of Entry

Hello,

I just filed form I-129F for my fiancée in the Philippines. I'm currently in San Diego but is planning to move to Oregon by end of the year.

My plan is to have LAX as my fiancée's port of entry because we're going to stay at San Diego for a week before going back to Oregon. Is that allowed or will I have a problem because port of entry is CA while my registered address is at OR?

Sorry I've researched on this but can't seem to find an answer from USCIS' website.

Thank you in advanced!

No worries, it is of little consequence. US Ports of Entry (POE) are for international arrival processing by CBP. USCIS doesn't care about domestic travel.
