Does the USEM usually change CEAC updates to "Issued" in the afternoon.

Sorry, just freaking out.

Updates are throughout the day but some will post after hours. Have more patience. It's going to happen so I recommend not dwelling on it so much. There is nothing you can do right now to speed this up.

Hello!

We just got our AP notification two hours ago.

Question for you Greenbaum,

do you know if the first "ready" is the one that says, ready for interview?

and if the Second "ready" is the one that says "case is open, check back in two days"?

because we got the AP status after the "case is open, check back in two days"!!''

if it is the second, then that would indicate the AP status we received is the one that precedes the holy "ISSUED" status!?

thanks in advance!

Process is normally READY, AP, READY, ISSUED ... how long it takes for this is what varies with each.

Just relax... I know not easy to do. ;)

You have CFO handled? I think I asked you this earlier.

CRBA is done, you have both passports ready ... all your ducks are in a row

You for sure need to relax... I know, tough to do

After the interview we never checked status, serious, we hung out with family, goofed off.. then one day we get a call from 2GO to deliver the package so we made sure to be home that day. Even after we had the visa package we didn't fly to the States for another month.

Once the CEAC status goes to issued it will still be 2-3 days before 2GO will have the package, then you may be able to check status on their website.

There is tracking info at the bottom of this page: http://visaconnection-philippines.com/index.php/2-visa-process/3-usem-k-1-visa

Also make sure when at the airport to go to the counter to pay travel tax for your fiancee, P1620, counter is at the front of the terminal in the middle by the airline check-in.

A little information:

the first AP is the immigration unit doing the paperwork for approving the visa
the first ready is a notice that they are finished and the paperwork is being sent for visa issuance
the second AP is the visa issuance people doing their own paperwork
the second ready is that the visa has been issued and is currently being processed for delivery

Then "issue" is posted and the visa has left the BIG house to YOUR house.

Is there a textual difference between the two "ready" statuses?

is the second one the one that says, "case open, check back in two business days"?

and is the case in AP during the actual physical interview?

I also never bothered to check the status after my interview. I just went out with my family and celebrated. After a week, I got a call from 2go telling me to pick up my package.

Just relax and all is well. :dancing:

Relax. Your not making this easier by trying to figure out a system that can't be predicted. It is what it is.

After ISSUED it will still be a few days before 2GO has the visa package, as the embassy still have to print the visa in the passport and package everything for delivery.
