Hi, I'm Tunisian, and my girlfriend from US. We decided that i go visit her (after have been talking for almost a year) and her family. Her family want that too, because that think tunisia is dangerous and i must go meet them before...So i decided to apply for a tourist visa (B2) to USA (me and my girlfriend we have ever been met physically so K-1 dosent work ) . I want to know if you have any idea how to increase my chance to get the visa : i filled the DS 160 (but not confirmed yet) and i mentioned that the reason is to visit "other" and not a "friend". because i want to visit my girlfriend which is not just a friend :) .

1-My love is preparing an invitation in which she will explain the reason and the that i'll stay there at their parent's home
2-I work here a software developer in a international company , may it help to show my contract and the proof that i'm working there, ? i added the contact of the company on the DS 160 Form.
3-I'm graduated from an engineering school that is so reputed in tunisia (the best in computer science) , so dose it help to show my diploma ? (i mentionned in the from this information too )
4-i have in my account more than 1000$ (but they are in dinars) , dose it help to tell them that ? or to give them my account number to check that ?

5-All i need is to have 10 days visa, nothing more, is it easy to get it so ? ( i can't have more than a vacation more than week from my company)

6-Do i need to translate proofs like diploma and work certificate and contract to english or its ok? the dipmola is in arabic the rest is in french
7-If they know that i'm going to meet my girlfriend , that will maybe think i'm going to do engagement there and stay there to start the process of Green card, so that's may be against me no ? i don't know if we will do it , but even if we will do engagement there i'll ot stay, i have to comeback for the job. Do you think it's a good idea if i tell all my plan ? : like telling in the interview that i want to meet her and her family than she comes here and do meet my family and we marry here than we move there.

8- If you just have an idea that will help please let me know, and if there are some guys here that have lived the same experience !!*

hi

no need for an invitation, there is nothing your girlfriend can do you will need to be truthful and show strong ties to your country

no need to translate anything because you are in your country so the officer will understand your documents, education has nothing to do with a tourist visa

family, property, a job, bank statements to show movement over a certain period of months, anything that can show you have to return, since once you enter the country you can stay, get married and adjust status

that's why immigration sees every persons as an intending immigrant, so you must convince the officer that you aren't, that you are returning to you country after your visit

First thanks for ur reply :)

I'm not gonna stay at a hotel, i'll be there at her parent's home, i think an invitation would help in my case no ? maybe not mandatory but may help. Ok i have the paychecks i take every month, i can show them , that may help :) . My ties to my country is the job, and my future plan to invite my gf to meet the family...

Is this a typo? Do you mean $10,000?

i said 1000 $ (one thousand $) , i think it's enough for being there for few days , that's why i said that .

Sounds like this is all moot, suggest you check Airline Ticket prices to the US.

Give it a few months, save up, show that you can afford the trip, then apply.

hi

that makes it worse, you can't afford coming here, so why leave if you were granted the tourist visa? you can quit your job and just come here to stay, If everything is being paid for, you have a girlfriend, you will be staying with her family here. you have stronger ties to the US than to your country

not much of a chance of getting it
