Yes indeed, case was transferred and another office has jurisdiction.

Now meanwhile 35 days ago.

It wasn't until I received the letter that I knew it was the NBC. (National Benefits Center).

Some say it is load sharing others say it might reflect the possibility for an interview.

In another VJ post people were transferred to the NBC and had their case approved without interview.

No I only filed the I-751 for removal of conditions.

I was always in the understanding that I had to be here for 5 years before filing for citizenship.

John

You are eligible to file for citizenship in 3 years if you are still married to the US Citizen. I am divorced so I have to wait 5 yrs. I also got an RFE and my lawyer send the response and they received it 15 days ago.

What is mentioned in the letter you received? Does it say like now you will get some communication from NBC?

I just checked the letter again and it says that they completed the preliminary review of my case and that the case was transferred to the office listed below so an interview can be scheduled. That office was the NBC.
Most likely they were not satisfied with the evidence I sent in.

So I guess I will be waiting for a letter to come to my regional office for an interview.

Update: Just got my case approved! As everyone knows it's a big relief!! I had recieved an RFE on March 23rd and had submitted a response, which USCIS recieved on April 23rd.

Now I begin the wait to hopefully recieve a "correct" Green Card.

Thank you everyone! This group helped me create a response to the RFE and answer all my questions!

Good luck to anyone who is still waiting!
