SO here's an interesting turn of events - just got notice I need to return my Green Card as there is incorrect info - I'll assume that the expiry date is wrong and that it should be from the date of my original admission to the USA back in December 2014, so should expire 2024??
Anyway, I'm supposed to be receiving a postage paid envelop with instructions and to mail it back within 20 days of receiving the request to return. Sheesh, what a gong show!

Here's a link to the recall if anyone else is interested. Luckily I don't need to travel anywhere out of country in the near future (barring emergencies) so really not a big deal, other than being a pain in the butt!

My case is now outside normal processing time and I contacted my local Senator. They wanted a signed form which I sent them and they already said it can take 2-3 weeks for them to contact USCIS because they are backed up with immigration cases. USCIS has 6 weeks to get back to the Senator with a reason of why the case is delayed. Will see what the outcome is.

Hi everyone. I see many case from 10/2016 was approved. Is there any case have the status “ Case was recieved at local office” got an approved without interview or RFE. I am 12/2016 filer and I have gotten this status for 74 days. I hope anything will be fine. Thank you.

Did you try to create a service request yourself since you qualify based on your NOA1 date? I am waiting myself (NOA1 November 9th) and feel bit depressing when I think about this whole process mess. Anyway please let us know how it goes, I will probably go same route if I don't hear back from USCIS within a month.

I have submitted an E-request (NOA is October 17th 2016). It's been a week now, I will inform you whenever I receive their response

Thank you! We submitted the rfe last week. We sent it by tracked delivery and it shows by usps that it was delivered last thursday (17th). We have had no update on the app saying they have received it. Did it take a while for them to show you on the app that they had received it?

I got an update about 3 days later...however, its been almost a month since I sent my RFE and haven't heard a response :\

I recived my approval letter 40days ago but never got the card. I called USCIS a couple of times to request tracking number with no luck ( they say the person who worked on your case didn't record the tracking number but the card is sent) or sometimes it is ready but not sent to you yet. They are inconsistent with the answer they give me and I don't know what to do.

At least they send your card. My case is approved on Apr 6 they did not even order my order. Call them so many time. Not helping at all, super upset.

But I never got my card that's what worrying me. and they are not sure if they send it. My friend got his approval letter after me and his card in a week. I feel like my card is just on someones desk under a pile of files smh. It's so frustrating. @lucky91 what do they tell you when you call?
