I have the same situation. Have to travel abroad next month while now waiting for my GC to arrive. Seeing other members experiences that still not getting their card, I’m so much nervous that I won’t receive my card on time too. I have I-551 stamp expired Jan 2019, but I think it’ll be invalid once our ROC is approved and new card is produced. Hope to hear any definitive answer/experiences from other members with the same situation. I’ll be screwed if I had to postpone my trip

I have no idea why it happened but as far as I know at least 5-6 people did not get their card after approved.Most of them already wait 3-4 weeks.

TONS of people coming back from travels just to find approval notice in the mail, ROC approval DOES NOT void i551 stamp. Get a stamp due to not receiving card yet and enjoy your travel.

After all this long wait finally some good news. They received my RFE on April 24 and today I found this update on the app 😃 I am so so happy! Good luck to all of you

Thanks Scazy! I think that what I’ll do, make infopass and discuss this with the officer there for another stamp saying not receiving card yet. But still also hoping I’ll get the greencard before I leave the country! *fingecross*

Unfortunately,I am still waiting. I just applied for N400. I also hope we will get the GC this week.😁

@Huckyfinn Me too. It is such a long wait. I was hoping to receive it in 2 weeks. Anybody out there can advise on the timelines between an approval and the receipt of the physical card?

So today few mins ago, got a notification that my case transferred to another office, which I do not know what this should mean, if any one pass by same thing can let me know

It looks like your I751 was transferred to the National Benefits Center, I had the same update last week and I received yesterday the mail stating that

Anyone got the 2nd letter per their notification or just one about the transfer to NBC?

 

For me the status changed twice last week, once one 05/01 and again 05/03. However both said same info, just different dates.
