Quick question. If my account on USCIS website says Card is in production, does it mean I got the green card. Has it happened to anyone where they actually got an RFE or an interview when their status said this?

If not, I might be getting a green card as a divorce filer. I can't believe this day has come.

Congrats. When did it change? it means you are approved

I got the email from USCIS today. Within a matter of 10 minutes, I got two emails, one that said they updated my name, and then 10 minutes later that my card is in production. It's just that we've seen so many weird stuff on USCIS website that I don't know if I can trust it.

Congrats! It seems like a lot cases they don't approve I 751 together with N 400 recently. You had your spouse with you for I 751 part of interview, correct? I'm wondering as she went through your I 751 files, what's the reason she can not get it done.

I received the physical letter on the 23rd and sent it out on the 28th of March, Yes ,it is indeed stressful , but it was a relief after I sent out the compilation of as many documents that can prove that I am in a bonafide marriage. I basically tried to enclose as many document as possible that had both our names on it. I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

For those who have received an RFE , I think the typical timeline seems to be 2 -3 weeks upon receipt. Date below

Submitted the supporting documents for RFE - 28th of March 2018

USCIS California acknowledged receipt - 4th of April 2018

Approval for producing card - 16th of April 2018

I also wanted to say that my husband and I did not have any joint accounts , did not have any lease in both our names , did not have any utility bills in both our names. I just submitted and explained the reason as to why it was such. So for those who are concern about whether this would be an issue , just elaborate in your cover letter. I did instead include as many documents that had both our names - official and non official. Hope this helps those who are in the midst of compiling their documents for the RFE. I am just so very thankful , that this nightmare is almost over. Receiving the 10 year green card will seal the deal!

With an NOA of 10/24/16, we are still waiting. It feels like there has been good progress in this group though.

 

I am looking at a range of about 60 cases on the app and I see a couple that were recently "Transferred and a New Office has jurisdiction" but no updates about ours yet.

Thank you so very much for sharing this important info about your case. This is crucial to me too, I'm Dec. 2016 filer, I'm kind of worrying about the house is under only my husband's name, and he pays all the household expenses including utility. Thus even we have joint account, we only use it particular purpose such as travelling, etc. Our monthly joint bank statement doesn't really reflect too much household expenses. But I did submitted a lot of other docs under both of our name, included 3 affidavit from our friends. But sill concern they will need more docs, I will have the ongoing docs for what I have submitted by the end of 2016, but not house Deed or lease under both our names.

I have a question: Did both of you and your husband have to sign the letter responding to RFE/cover letter?
