For those who have already been approved for a ROC, i am a little worried about recieving a REF, and what do start being proactive incase it happens. When i submitted my ROC on 12.16 i did not have any lease or deed as my spouse  had bought before our marriage and we never thought about adding my name to the title. But now I see that it is a requested document, since we never leased an appt & have no joint property. Do you think this will be grounds for a RFE and since we had not recieved one as of date do you think we should have the title changed now to include my name?

The docs we did submit were as follows;

Copy of his mortage loan in spouse name only showing our joint address

Electrc bills in spouses name only showing joint address

Water bills in my name only showing joint address

Joint cell phone bill in both our names

Joint tax returns with transcripts no w2s

Joint checking & saving statements

Joint auto ins

Copy of both DL showing same address

Copy of employmnt ins coverage showing joint coverage

Copy of my 401k listing spouse as benny. (Spouse has no 401k)

Copy of join gym membership & payment history

Copy of animal hospital bills in both of our names

Photo albums & random pieces of mail from family & friends. Part invites, xmas cards, wedding invites, postcards address to us jointly.

For those that have been approved do you think that I should expect a REF?

Thank you in advance.

Reading the list of documents you have submitted I would never think you'd get a RFE. I think you sent lots of good evidence.

I think you will get your approval very soon!!!!

I want to add my information to be added to mycase17's list.

Date of I-751: 10/07/2016

NOA: 10/17/2016

Biometrics: 12/14/2016

RFE: 04/11/2018 (Even though I have not received a physical mail, DHS and Case Status both updated that RFE mail was sent on 04/11/2018)

Thanks in advance @mycase17

For all people going thru RFE, I feel your pain! Let's get this done.

Alright... I just got an RFE today.

Two questions guys, please help.

1. Since the NOA on 10/17/2016, our daughter was born in Summer of 2017. I didn't bother updating the CSC because I was not informed that I needed to update them unless there is an address change. Should I have updated them about the birth of our child when it happened? Do you think that would have prevented me to get an RFE? (Hypothetical question but please give me some solid opinions here...)

2. Now that I actually have an RFE, should I include documents related to the birth of our child? If so, what kind of documents should I include about this?

Thank you in advance!

Yes I would def sent them birth certificate certified copy, maybe some pics of your family, health insurance cards , things of that nature. Plus you never know what kind of documents they will ask for on that RFE... But I'm sure you will be fine :)

Good luck

I did not send a lot. I guess I sent in all the required documents listed on i-751 instructions...

1. Joint bank statements

2. Joint credit card statements

3. Joint apartment lease

4. Joint auto insurance

5. Photos from the wedding and everyday life.
6. 3 affidavit letters

7. Joint tax returns

8. Cover letter listing the list of evidence

and maybe more but this is all I can remember off the top of my head at the moment...

I read that you don't have to send in a pile of evidence, though... Should I have sent in more you think?
