Interesting, cause everyone says that when they tranfer the file to the local office it always means you'd get an interview and that didnt happen to you...

I just received an email yesterday from when I sent an e-request due to the error they had on my green card (incorrect residence since date). The email said that they will look into my file and if they have found that they have really sent me an incorrect PRC, then they will mail a new one to me. For those that have been approved do you think that I should expect a REF?

They just approved my case this week. I was worried they would send me a REF as well because I didn't send any lease copy. I send a joint auto insurance, joint bank account, joint tax return all 3 years,  joint medical plan, shared education benefit. No letter, no picture, no ID's, no lease....so I was worried.  You should hope for the best but prepare yourself just in case they ask for more. Good luck!

I'm in a similar situation as you are. I also have the same worries. I'm Dec. 2016 filer, I didn't have joint lease or deed to submit either,  as my husband bought house before we got married.

And we sent the joint filing tax return transcript (I didn't know need to send W2) printed from IRS website, by the time the tax return transcript received I already mailed my packet. Was your transcript from mail request or online? They should be the same right?

I have a little question, for the joint back statement, you sent in all the statements or some of them?

I actually sent some of the joint bank statements and cell phone bills. I thought put each month would be too many paper. I'm not sure if I did correctly.

Hi everyone,

 

This is the first time I post here and just wanted to let you guys that I got approved today. My NOA is 10/31/2016 and I got the notification text through the DHS website while the USCIS is still showing "Case was received at my local office". Good luck to everyone, this forum has been very helpful and it's nice to know that there are a lot of other people going through the same journey as you. Cheers!

@frigatebird Yea we are in ecactly the same situation. I was unable to acess mine online so some one from my local IRS faxed them to me. But i think its the same thing cause they made me first try to print the online. 

I did not sent all the statements just randomly selected a few statements to cover the 3 years and also not all cell phone bills just randomly selected just a few to cover the year because like you said it would of been too much paper. What date in Dec are You? I am Dec 22 2016. 

I don't know what to do. But i have started printing all the other bank statements & bills & getting them ready just incase. Let us keep intouch  until this is all over.

Hey guys - i had sent USCIS just a few bank statements and other documents for 2016 but got a RFE  now i am collecting everything from the start of our marriage (2014)  i would just advise having everything ready from the date of your marriage just to be safe.

 

I also feel it just depends on the person checking the file...some get approved, some get RFEs. Hopefully you all get approved without the RFE! Good Luck!
