I-751 October 2016 Filers

I am kind of new and also an October 2016 filer. USCIS received my package on October 17th 2016 and other than 'your case was transferred to a local office' I did not get any updates. I am checking every day and some of the numbers before me got approved a couple days ago. My case number starts with WAC1701700...... Ugh I get really frustrated about this and hope I will hear back from them soon.

@Huckyfinn remember its not about the quantity of documents you sent inn, it' the quality of those documents. I would suggest submitting documents that show a good quality marriage. Arrange them in the order that builds a good picture for your IO. Start with

1. Shared living. That would be copies of lease agreements. Go as far back as you can. If you have no lease then maybe property deeds...and if you have no property deeps then write your IO a letter explaining why you don' have those things. 

Send utility bills (electric, gas, internet, cable, water) again date back as far as possible. 

Pic of DL of both spouses with same address. Any other gov doc showing your joint address. 

2. Commingled finances - copies of tax returns (dont forget to get transcript from irs) 

Bank statements from joint accts, if you have 401k showing spouse as benny and vise-vesa. Other finanial other acts with spouse listed as benny. 

C.Card statements, items purchased on layaway in both your names, Car loans, Car titles, car insurance, health ins, life insurance, anything showing you have joint financial responsibility in things that are of value. 

3. Items to show you have an ongoing  life togeather- that will be your sams card, your photos, trips youv taken, children's birth certificates, letters from friends and family. Gym membership, pet adoption certificates. Mail to your joint address in both names. Ie xmas cards, wedding invites, post cards (all items listing both spouses names ofcourse)

So guess wait continues, now with additional wonder what they want.

But what I can see in the case status app I tracked about 200 cases before me and 100 after me, the status processing seems pretty random.

Hi, my case number is similar to yours, WAC1701700--- and even cases after mine has been approved. Agree, it is frustrating!

I received the physical letter on the 23rd and sent it out on the 28th of March, Yes ,it is indeed stressful , but it was a relief after I sent out the compilation of as many documents that can prove that I am in a bonafide marriage. I basically tried to enclose as many document as possible that had both our names on it. I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

This is coming today in my mail . On 26 March On my USCIS account it’s stated that my case got approved but on 27th March I received an email stating they are still reviewing my case

So, on March 12 I got an email that they are still reviewing my case and they last took action was February 26. On March 27 2018 I got the same message but says they last took action November 8 2016. And March 29, same message but it says they last took action March 1st 2018. Does anyone got similar dates? This doesn’t make sense. Why first 2/26/2018, then 11/8/2016 and then 3/1/2018??? My biometrics date is 11/8/2016. When I check my status on the original website I first had Case Transfer to local office at 2/28/2018 and then changed to 3/5/2018. When I check on the dhs site it says Case Transfered on 2/25/2018 and 2/26/2018?!?!? What the actual f@&$  They are confusing me. 😫😫😫 

 

My NOA is 9/30/2016 and I didn’t file for N400

Same. I got the same message and email says still reviewing my case and last time action was on March 1. But when I log in to the account there is nothing on March 1. Only Feb 26 sent to local office thing.  By the way my NOA is Nov 9 but I filed in late Oct. So frustrating!
