Hey Everyone, I happened to check my informed delivery today and noticed I have a package coming from USCIS In Kentucky. Needless to say I just checked the mail and my 10 yr green card was in it.

Hi Sylea, Your timeline says your NOA1 is on November 19, 2016. Can you double check and if it is October 2016, I can add you in the list :)

No sir. Absolutely no letters or notifications whatsoever. I did not know which local fascility exactly it was mailed to, but it did not really matter to me.

Ever since I passed my biometrics, It was a complete silence :( 

as I said before, I just happened to come across some comments over here and follow the advice and enter my second WAC-number - this second number was the one that kept changing its status. From transfer to local fascility , to approval 10 days later.

We are getting there guys, hang in there , your approvals are coming. And thank you everyone for the congratulations:wub::rolleyes:

My NOA number starts with WAC17025xxxxx and the other number on the bio-metric letter starts with WAC17016xxxxx.

Feels like its backward as I got the NOA letter before the biometrics letter. My NOA is October 24th.

WAC17024xxxxx has some approvals on 3/22 and 3/23 as well.

Do we have an idea of how many people will get asked for RFE? Talked with my attorney earlier and she said since it has been so long, they are asking almost every one to submit RFE, the chance I get asked is like 95%.

 

but from looking here, it does not seem so... any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I really think USCIS do not issue RFE based on length of period that file has been staying at their desk. If you have provided sufficient evidence (I provided I think like 12 lbs, we had 3 joint bank/creditcard accounts, so 3 years and each month statement is like 12 pages, so total of roughly 432 pages, all electricity bills, internet bills for 3 years, pics, power of attorney, leases etc. I had to use two 8 inch acco Fastners just to hold the document) I think you will be fine unless there is some red flags. 

 

In my case, I had stoke interview for I-485 and took long time to get approved, so I just sent them everything I could for I-751.

Thanks! I thought her reasoning was weird too. I did not have much materials as you did, but I did have house, bank account, credit car statements, cell phone, utilities, tax returns, photos, letters, insurance. etc. 

 

I mean they could ask for more updated documents, but I just think the length of the submission should not be an determinator of RFE, otherwise they’d just be dropping the stone on their own feet...given how delayed they are right now for processing. 

 

Nonetheless, her comment stresses me out as I have no idea what more to submit if I do get RFE.

Just start collecting. I already have lot of documents since I applied on NOV 2016 like taxes, new lease document, pics, bank statements etc. So just in case I get RFE or interview, I will throw them at their desk and be done with it. 

I-751 is just a wait game but a long one.

I think the fact that a lot of people do NOT get RFE only proves that it does not depend on the time that have passed since filing. 

And the statement that "almost everyone gets RFE" is wrong. My package was very heavy. 

You will get RFE if you did not submit enough evidence or if something seems suspicious. Just my 2 cents.
