I-751 October 2016 Filers

I just called USCIS now and made an inquiry about my pending ROC because they’re already processing October 12 and mine is October 4 and didn’t hear anything. He gave me an inquiry case number T1B***********CSC and said to them call back after 30 days if I didn’t hear anything from them.

Try the other WAC number form you Bio-Metrics letter. My NOA is October 24th, one NOA says Fees Waived and the other says it is transferred to local office.

Hello All,

I am an October 2016 filer and here is my update:

Follow the advise on creating an account on the USCIS website, once there, I added both cases numbers, the one initially received after filing I-751 and the one received at bio metrics.

* CRI-89 case number: continue with the same update, they received the case and waived the fees.

* I-751 case number:

Received two updates on the website:

Feb/26 and March/05, advising that the case was moved to my local office.

March/15: Got 2 emails with the notice "we have taken action on your case". When to my account and there are two updates:

- "we have update your date of birth": I am not sure why this needed to be up dated, so just wanting on notice in the mail.

- "we have update your name": when filing for I-751 I requested to have my name update.

March/16: an other email with same notice "with have taken action on your case:.

 -   "we approved your case", and its dated March/15. so looks like everything was done within a day.

 

Just as everybody else, I was very skeptical about this updates, specially because the one saying that the case was transfer to the local office, seems to be duplicated or looked ore like a bulk email,  rather then a notice directed to my case. Considering the last updates on this forum looks like once the cases were passed to the local offices, thing started to move along. 

 

My husband and I are very happy today as we feel like everybody else here, its been forever!. Now just keep on waiting on the notice in the mail and also keep an eye on the date of birth to make sure its correct.

 

My advise is, if you have not open an account, go ahead and do it, and you get more updates there, than on the mail.

My Noa 28th October 2016, the update for my I-751 is the regular WAC as always fees waived, the other WAC is case transefered for local office , which is Chicago Field Office on March 5th

 

N400 update is Noa 22th october 2017, and now Interview scheduled on April 16th 2018.

 

I need to know if any one in chicago field office had before N400 interview and his I751 still pending? If so how it goes? Do I take my wife with me to the interview or no? Thanks all

Your NOA1 is the date that is on your first notice USCIS sent you. If USCIS received your I-751 on 10/6/2016, then your NOA1 should be October 6, 2016. Regardless, congrats on your approval.

So I just received a notification from uscis.dhs.gov, stating that USCIS has mailed me a RFE. Just a few days ago I got an update that they've updated/corrected my name and address on my application,  which I thought was a sign of case approval. Anyone else getting RFEs? I submitted ample evidence through my lawyer, so I don't know what more they'd require. Needless to say a damper  to the weekend

It's been  almost 1,5 year since I-751 submission, so I'd not be surprised they want an updated info.. Hopefully this is the case. Anyway RFE means your case finally "has been touched"...  Usually it takes 2-4 weeks to get your case approved after your response to RFE. 

So I believe you are almost "there" - wish you ALL the best!

@Ksenia_O Hopefully that's the case will have to wait until I get the physical notice. Can't wait for the evidence collection process to restart :/
