I am having a different experience here. In my case, the i-751 is not moved to Dallas field office where I have N-400 pending since last 6 months. Yesterday I had it confirmed from Tier 2 officer who sent the message to CSC to approve my petition without any delay if there are no issues with the application.  So I would definitely recommend @Forteleo87 to call USCIS to find out where exactly i-751 file is?

Thank you all for your response. I'm quiet nervous since I want to go see my family (It's been 4 years), and my passport has only the I-551 stamp. Thinking about my home country's customs, they will definitely tell me that i'm faking the stamp in order to go to USA. All they recognize is a US Visa or a Green Card in order to let me board the airplane. Just concerned that I might be stuck there. :unsure:

If I don't get the green card when October 2016 filers will get theirs, then I will have to wait till my N-400 is approved which means till december this year at lease (It shows in Las Vegas Center that they're processing the January 2017 filers).

I don't know what country you are from but I was told by an immigration officer at the London embassy that are immigration officers that are located at airports when there is a problem with green cards or i551 stamps.  They can actually type in your alien number from the stamp and get an immediate response on what is going on with your case, they did when I left Manchester in January.  They hadn't seen the stamp (must have been a new girl). She typed it in and voila it came back ROC pending.

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

GC  Conditional date:  05/26/2015

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018

Biometrics:                    02/22/2018

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

USA citizen as of 25th of July 2018. :)

Thank you Shell20, I'm from Morocco. Customs in there are not used to American immigration procedures and they are easy to get upset and deny boarding

Hello there October 2016 filers!

My husband is Dutch and we filed for his ROC in October 2016. We had to go down to our local office last month to get a I-94 stamp because his driver's license was expiring and he would be unable to re-new it. His Dutch passport is also currently expired which is why he had to do the I-94 stamp.

Yesterday my husband received his  approval letter, however this letter is from our local office in Fairfax, Virginia, the same office we went to to get his I-94 stamp, it is not from the VSC which is where his ROC went to in October 2016. Our case status online still has the same blah blah blah message that's been there since they received his filing fee in October 2016. In addition today he received another biometrics letter showing an appointment for 02/28/18.

Has anyone had this happen? Does he still have to go to do the biometrics even though he has an approval letter stating his card will be received in 60 days?

I wonder why the local office sent this letter, did going to the local office to get the I-94 stamp prompt them to just finish his process for him rather than wait on VSC?

We are confuzzled! Any ideas or advice?

Thanks so much for any ideas or advice you might give us!

Anyone here who traveled back to the US from Manila with I-551 stamp? I'm a little nervous I maybe questioned in Manila airport immigration about the stamp.

My wife went back to Thailand in August with the I-551 stamp and it was no problem.  It's important to also bring your latest receipt for ROC, US immigration will probably ask for that.

I just checked my another WAC number, it says case was received (02/24/2018) at my local office (FL). Does it mean i will have an interview or something? or all the cases must go through at the local office? My NOA is Oct 20th 2016 and I did not file N-400.

I got the same message. Im a dec 2016 filer and posted about it on that thread. I'm guessing (hoping) that its to clear out some of the back log at CSC

It so weirded. I have checked my status early morning and it said they received my case on On February 24, 2018, but  i just checked it again and it says they "received my case on On February 26, 2018". I also just submitted a case inquiry and I hope I will get some more information from them. Did you made a case inquiry for your case?

I did not. Nor did I apply for the N400. Mine said Feb 26th too. So i figured I lucked out by happening to check it on the same day.

It seems Most October and November cases are transferred to local offices?? My NOA is November 2016. and the status changed to "On February 26, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC1706XXXXXX, at your local office." this is from another WAC number, not the Biometric Receipt Number.
